The months between 29 and 30

And so my last year of being in my 20's begins. I turned 29 yesterday and I feel like I should make some changes to prep for my 30's. So here is my list:
  • Change my health for the better. I eat out a lot, I don't move as much as I should, I need to take better care of my body to live a long and healthy life
  • Have more children, this doesn't have to be before I turn 30 but soon after
  • Watch my temper: I don't need to get mad or riled up at everything
  • This goes with the bullet above: be more easy going, not everything is so urgent
  • Slow Dow: I don't want to be rushed, I'm going to get up earlier, I'm going to make the mornings easier for me, Maria and Riley.
  • Read More: I started this recently because I downloaded the Kindle App for Android. This is much easier than lugging around a book.
  • I said this before but I need to write everyday, even if it's just for my eyes only.
  • Be kinder to the environment for my future lineage
  • Do something different with my hair
  • Change my wardrobe style
These are just a few things I can think of today and the list will grow as the year goes on but the first thing I will do is write oh and join weight watchers.

So here's to 29, may it be a good and happy year!

P.S. I took down the blog I had written in 3rd person because, well I was afraid the people involved would stumble upon it but I will put it back up and only allow my followers to read it. I want to thank you all for the comments and I must say it was so fun and a release to write that way, you should try it.

  1. Happy Birthday late! I hope it was a lovely day! I like your list. I think everything sounds very pragmatic. You should add something wild in there. :)

  2. THANK YOU!! I know I really should. My besty Morgan is going to be 29 this year too and I think her theme is "let's get a little crazy this year" and I think I'm on board!

  3. Love the goals! If I could add to that list, it would be one very special thing: always live for the now - enjoy the friends, family and love that surrounds you at this very present moment. This is easier said than done, especially since life can get so busy and hectic :D

  4. Thank you so much for reading my blog Mikie. My goal is to be an author and I figured I could start here just to get my feet wet and practice writing for a broad audience. With that, thank you for the comment and I agree, that should be numero uno on my list. Time just slips by doesn't it?!
